Recently, our PRC (Postural Restoration Certified) Physical Therapist Assistant, Cindy Rice, shared some “clinical pearls of wisdom” about breathing mechanics by exhaling into a balloon. She emphasized the best way to teach our patients how to properly execute this maneuver.
Our therapists enjoyed having the time to practice this concept and to share some laughs that afternoon. We are always focused on learning more about ways to help our patients get better. And, just like our patients, our therapists benefit from practicing these techniques too.
At the Cantrell Center, we are all in this together!
