City of Perry’s Open Air Health Fair
Wellness Trainer, Sunshine Walton, and Director of Public Relations, Jen Zamora, represented the Cantrell Center at a recent community event. The City of Perry’s Open Air Health Fair was held on Saturday, March 6th.
The event took place at Heritage Oaks Park in Perry which is located at 2021 Sam Nunn Blvd in Perry, Georgia.
The event attracted people from Perry and surrounding cities. The first 200 attendees received a swag bag full of items donated by vendors. The Cantrell Center donated our coveted Cantrell Center Hoo-rags to the swag bags.
Besides a variety of health and fitness vendors, the event featured door prizes, and children-friendly activities, inflatable games, for instance. Attendees participated in free workouts as part of the City of Perry’s Workout in the Park Series.
Sunshine and Jen met with people of all ages and fitness levels and shared with them the services the Cantrell Center offers. They happened to talk to quite a few regular wellness members and those who have been patients at the Cantrell Center on multiple occasions.
The weather was a bit chilly and it sprinkled a bit, but overall, it was a wonderful time meeting with members of the community.
