Statement from the Cantrell Center: Coronavirus

Cantrell Wellness Center COVID-19 Update 03/26/20

The Cantrell Wellness Center is Closed

The health and well-being of our members, staff, and guests is our highest priority. The Cantrell Wellness Center including access to the pool and gym, fitness classes, and personal training, will be closed through April 19th in accordance with an order by Warner Robins Mayor Randy Toms calling for the closure of all gyms and fitness centers through April 19th.  Please check back for updates as to whether we will reopen on Monday, April 20th or remain closed.

According to the CDC, social distancing means remaining out of congregate settings, avoiding mass gatherings and maintaining distance (approximately 6 feet or 2 meters) from others when possible. The goal of social distancing is to slow down the spread of COVID-19 and reduce the chances of infection. By practicing social distancing, people not only have a greater chance of remaining well, but also allow our hospitals and caregivers to focus on those who do become ill.

To Our Valued Wellness Members:  We understand you may be struggling during these uncertain times so we are proactively suspending the April draft for our wellness members and our members will not be charged for the month of April.  Our 6 and 12 month members who paid in full will receive “Cantrell Bucks” in the amount of one month of membership that can be added to the end of your current contract, applied to a renewal or towards any wellness service.

We miss our members already and since we can’t be together right now, we will be bringing workouts to you virtually:

The Cantrell Center is actively monitoring Coronavirus (COVID-19) updates from the World Health Organization and the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and our local and state authorities.
