Casey Zettlemoyer, Front Office Assistant
Casey joined the Cantrell Center team as Front Office Assistant on May 15th. She moved to the area in December 2017 just shortly before New Year’s Day, taking the saying “start the new year with a fresh start” to heart. She was born and raised in the suburbs of Southeastern Pennsylvania. Growing up she always joked that she’d move South since she hates the cold and especially snow. She and her other half, Bill, reside in Perry along with their adopted Catahoula bulldog mix, Bailey. She first started her career in the kitchen and food service world following in her Dad’s footsteps—he’s been a chef as long as she can remember. After a few years of working in restaurants and a college kitchen, she went on to work in a retirement community called Ann’s choice– which she really enjoyed because she was able to interact with the residents and get to know them well. Yet it was when she was hired on at Performance Spine and Sports Medicine in Newtown, PA as a Front Desk Specialist that she finally found a job she felt challenged in. It was then she knew she wanted to be a part of the physical therapy team and make a career in this field. In her free time, she enjoys “pretending she knows how to cook”, hiking, going on long drives, motorcycle rides—and she LOVES to dance! She’s currently working on exploring all small towns and parks in Georgia. So far, she’s been to Kennesaw Battlefield Park, Andersonville Historic Site, and the POW Museum. Tybee Island and Tallulah falls are next on her list of places to visit. If you know of any places that should be on that list, she’d love to hear from you! Welcome aboard, Casey! You’re a quick learner and we’re lucky to have you!
