Madison “Madi” Smith, Wellness Trainer
Hey! My name is Madison Smith. I am an Exercise Physiologist/Wellness Trainer certified through the American College of Sports Medicine. I graduated from Tiftarea Academy in 2014. From there, I went to South Georgia State College on a softball and cross country scholarship where I earned my Associates of Science in Health and Human Performance in 2016. I then attended Valdosta State University where I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology in 2018.
Throughout college, I coached at Community Christian Academy (Adel, GA). I was the Head Varsity Softball Coach, K3-8th grade Physical Education Coach, and the Strength and Conditioning Coach for athletics. I also worked as a PT aide/Head Gym Personnel at Therapy Associates of Georgia in Adel, GA. After graduating from VSU, I interned at Donalsonville Hospital’s physical therapy clinic and worked there after completion of my internship. I got experience in settings such as inpatient, outpatient, behavioral health unit, and a skilled nursing facility.
I am excited to be joining The Cantrell Center family and helping others achieve their fitness goals! In my spare time, you may find me deep sea snapper fishing, bass fishing, bow hunting, kayaking, playing co-ed softball, running, my favorite- beaching… or anything outdoors! I love my huge family, traveling, 90’s country music, coffee, dogs!
